The Anti-Counterfeit Authority (Kenya) together with the Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry (Kenya), in collaboration with various stakeholders including the private sector invites you to participate in the Second International Conference on Intellectual Property Protection and Enforcement (ISIPPE-2) This event is scheduled to take place in Nairobi, Kenya, in June 2024.

The symposium will bring together Intellectual property rights experts, industry leaders, regulators, law enforcement agencies, government policy-makers, and security solution providers. Together, they will address crucial issues related to counterfeiting and illicit trade within the pharmaceutical sector.

The conference will employ various engaging formats, such as research paper presentations, expert talks on pertinent topics, and the sharing of testimonials related to intellectual property rights.

The main objectives of the Symposium are:

1. Expert Insights: To share experiences on best practices in protection of IP Assets as well and gain knowledge of cutting-edge solutions in combatting intellectual property rights (IPR) infringement and illicit trade in the pharmaceutical sector.
2. Collaboration and Networking Opportunities: Connect and strengthen partnerships with a diverse and influential network of professionals in the pharmaceutical sector.
3. Exhibitions/Showcases: Sponsored exhibitions showcasing innovative brand protection and anti-counterfeiting technologies and solutions employed by the pharma industry.
4. Intellectual Property capacity building and advocacy. Create public awareness to the public on the importance of intellectual property protection in the pharmaceutical industry.
5. Policy Recommendations: Develop and present policy recommendations to government agencies for the improvement of IP protection in the pharmaceutical sector.
