Mr Johnson Otieno Adera

Mr. Adera is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree from the University of Nairobi and a Master of Laws (LLM) Degree in International Trade and Investment Law from the University of the Western Cape, Cape Town, Republic of South Africa. He is also a member of the Law Society of Kenya.

Prior to joining the Agency, Mr. Adera worked as a State Counsel at the State Law Office for 8 years where he gained wide experience in various aspects of the law.

As the Head of the Enforcement, Prosecution and Legal Services Department, Mr. Adera is tasked with overseeing the enforcement of the provisions of the Act, coordination of investigations and prosecutions of cases arising from enforcement of the Act and providing the requisite legal services to the Agency.
Mr. Adera is married to Anne Wanja Mbature and is the father of two daughters.
